Go to HR Lounge > Employee Performance


1. At Dashboard, click on Create new Cycle button. 


2.  You will be automatically directed to Cycle Overview page. The page has been designed to guide the user to create a performance cycle by steps.


Tips:

1. Ensure to have a copy of the cycle details outside the system so when cycle is created, the information is final and no adjustment needed as the employees, especially manager will have visibility on the cycle details upon creation.

2. In the event an adjustment is needed for the cycle that has been created, Admin to delete the cycle to create a new one.

3. Only one active cycle is available at a time to avoid employee confusion



3. Give a Name for your performance cycle. To better track the historical cycle information, include the information of when the performance cycle being conducted. Admin user may refer to the example given. Add the Start Date and End Date to your cycle as well.


4. At Step 1, Click on Competency settings to create the list of competencies according to company policy. Jump to this page for the details guide.


5. Create company or department level of objective at Step 2 by clicking on Objectives settings. Jump to this page for the details guide.


6.  Step 3 is where you set the important dates, within cycle period to notify employee to take action on the task assigned.


    Due date for the definition of individual objectives    

    Set the deadline by giving around one week after company-wide objective announcement to assign employee objective          after discussion within the team.

    End of cycle performance appraisal - Start date

    Set the the start date of the appraisal process.

    Employee Self Appraisal

    Set the deadline of self assessment and input list of review questions which will be appeared in the online Appraisal Form.


     Manager Appraisal

     Set the deadline for manager to submit rating and review feedback to HR/Admin and input list of appraisal                             questions which will be appeared in the online Appraisal Form.


     Employee acknowledgement

     Set the deadline for employee to acknowledge the final review by manager

 


7. At Step 4, you can choose to enable 1 on 1 and 360 feedback functions as part of the performance review.  

1 on 1 : Enable the toggle if you would like employee to set 1 on 1 with their line manager

360 feedback Upwards : Enable the toggle if you would like the line managers to assign employee to give anonymous feedback to an upper level employee. By anonymous, only the manager and Admin will be able to see who is assigned to give the feedback

360 feedback Peers : Enable the toggle if you would like the line managers to assign employee to give anonymous feedback to a similar level employee. By anonymous, only the manager and Admin will be able to see who is assigned to give the feedback.

360 feedback Downwards: Enable the toggle  if you would like the line managers to assign employee to give 

anonymous feedback to a below level employee. By anonymous, only the manager and Admin will be able to see who is        assigned to give the feedback.


     360 feedback start and end

    Start Date: Usually the start date is equal to start date of the cycle, of after.

    End Date: Usually the due date is before the the manager submit their ratings



8. Upon completion of the above steps, Admin user may proceed to Step 5, to click on Start Cycle button to activate the performance cycle
