*Note to HR / Admin :

Q : What is a "past leave"?

A : "Past leave" is all leave applications that commence from any past date, right up to the current date.

[For example: The current date is 7/10/2021. Therefore, any leave applied on 7/10/2021 and before, will be considered as a "past leave" application.]

Situation A:

Past leave application + Not approved by HR = Can be modified.

Situation B:

Past leave application + Approved by HR = Can't be modified.

[The HR will have to delete the past leave application, and re-create the leave application on behalf of the employee.]

To delete and re-create a past leave application on behalf of an employee, you may follow the below steps:

1. Delete the approved past leave application.

2. Create a new leave application for the same date on behalf of the employee, by clicking the +Apply Leave button

(Remember to include the modifications requested. For example, the employee has requested to modify the past leave application from full day, to half day only. Then, the HR must remember to tick the "Morning only" or "Afternoon only" option.)

3. Tick the "Skip Validation" checkbox before clicking on Submit

(This option forces the leave creation, thus skipping the policy's rules).

4. Once the new past leave application has been successfully created, the HR would need to approve the new past leave application. (The leave application will appear under the Pending Actions List.)

5. Once the new past leave application has been approved, it will be displayed as shown in the screenshot example below:
