Note : 

Before proceeding with the below steps, please check with your respective HR Department first, if you have the access to cancel your own leave application(s). 


If you do not have access, kindly make a request to the HR, to cancel the leave application on your behalf.


  • You can only cancel future date leave application
  • If you wish to cancel your leave application for a past date, kindly make a request with the respective HR Department of your company to assist with cancelling the leave application. You will not be able cancel any past leave applications on your own, using the My Leave dashboard.


Q : What is a 'past leave'?

A : It is all leave applications that commence from any past date, right up to the current date.


[For example: The current date is 11/11/2021. Therefore, any leave applied on 11/11/2021 and before, will be considered as a 'past leave' application.]




If you have access to cancel your own leave application, kindly follow the below steps :

1. Once you have logged in to your BrioHR account, click on the Home icon and select My Leave.



2. Click on the See details icon under the Leave requests Status & History column.



3. Click on the Cancel leave icon displayed at the Leave Details pop-up. 


Q : I don't see this "Cancel leave" button. What should I do?

A : If the leave is future-date and you don't see this "Cancel leave" button, it means you don't have permission access to cancel your own leave application(s). Please contact your HR for assistance.



4. A Confirmation pop-up window will appear. Click Yes to cancel the leave application. Otherwise, click on No to cancel the action.



5. Your leave application Status will then change to > CANCELLED.
