There will be times where you may need to exclude certain employees from Payroll. In BrioHR, you can do so by excluding the employee from his/her Profile > Payroll.

*Note: The employee must be excluded from Payroll prior to processing the payroll cycle.


To exclude certain employees from Payroll, you may follow these steps:


1. Once you have logged in to your BrioHR account, click on the People icon.

2. Search for the Name/ID of the employee at the Search column.

3. Click on the name of the employee, to be directed to the employee's Profile.



4. At the employee's Profile, click on the Payroll icon.

5. Click on Edit button at the Payroll Center column.

6. Select Excluded from Payroll from the dropdown.





7. Click on the Save button to save your changes. 





Once the above steps are completed, the employee will be excluded from the Payroll and Payroll Report.
