What is SSFW Number?


According to Employee's Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4), employers who hire foreign workers shall register their employees with SOCSO and contribute to the Employment Injury Scheme with effect from 1 January 2019. This is employer's contribution only to be paid monthly.


SSFW Numbers is a Social Security Foreign Worker number created when the employers registered their foreign employees via PERKESO ASSIST portal, or via PERKESO counters.


Where to Edit SSFW Number for Foreign Employees?


PART 1: Edit individually


For foreign employees, it's compulsory for Admin/Payroll Processor to update in their profile.


1. Go to the employee's Profile > Go to Payroll section


2. At General Payroll Information, click on pencil icon to open Edit mode




3. Look for SSFW Number (under PCB Number) and update the number in the text field.


4. Click on Save 


PART 2: Edit in Bulk


1. Go to HR Lounge


2. Click on Payroll



Scroll down to Payroll employees list


3. Click on Bulk Download/Upload button





4. A pop out window will appear, and click on Download button




Excel template titled 'Employee Payroll Data' will be downloaded to your computer


5. Go to worksheet title 'Employee Payroll Data' to edit. 

p/s: DO NOT delete any worksheets and columns and re-arrange those in this Excel template


6. Go to column [Y] with header title SSFW Number and update here. Click Save

7. Click Choose File and upload your saved Excel template here
