Managing leave policies in BrioHR is simple, quick, and easy! You can create different policies for various types of leaves and customize them based on the needs of different employees in your company. What's even better is that you can tailor entitlements and settings for specific employees as well.

In our latest update, we've added a cool feature to the Leave Policy. Now, you can easily refer to past years' leave policy configurations to compare settings. For instance, if in 2020 the leave entitlement was 10 days and in 2022 it increased to 13 days, you can see these changes by selecting the desired year.

This is particularly useful when setting up the Carry Forward balance, especially if your company plans to allow more carry forward in the upcoming years. You can now document these changes year by year, making it a breeze to keep track of policy adjustments.

It's important to note that the system automatically saves settings from previous years. So, if you want to make changes for the year 2024, you can go ahead, but please be mindful of the following:

If there are changes in entitlement or settings for 2024, make sure to implement them only on January 1, 2024.
This ensures that the system accurately captures and records all the data and configurations for 2023 before moving on to the setup for 2024.
