An employee's EA Form may encounter an issue where a custom pay item is either:
a) Not reflected in the EA Form, or
b) Appears in the incorrect section of the EA Form.
If you find yourself in this situation, it is likely due to an inaccurate EA Form mapping for the custom pay item.
It's important to note that configurations for default pay items are pre-set and should not pose issues; however, custom pay items require precise configuration to ensure accurate representation in the EA Form. Rest assured that addressing this mapping accurately will resolve the discrepancy.
Login to BrioHR > HR Lounge > Payroll
1. At the payroll dashboard > Go to Settings > Go to Salary Allocation & Default Items > Click List of Payroll Items
2. Find the custom pay item (eg Performance Allowance) > Click pencil icon to edit
3. A pop out window of 'Update Custom Item' will appear. Look for :
a) Where it should appear in EA Form?
- Select the EA form section where this item should appear, or 'None' if it should not appear in EA Form
- Choosing the section of EA Form is to be determined by you
- The amount of this pay item will appear at the section chosen
b) Where it should appear in the CP22A Form?
- Specify if the item is a 'Leave Pay', or else it will appear as defined in the EA Form.
After mapping accordingly. click Save.
Now, the pay item's amount shall reflect correctly at the section chosen.
