You are running a payroll for the first time in BrioHR (especially for new payroll center) and you encounter a warning message as below
Unable to compute payslip : EPF should be enabled for Malaysian payroll centers to have accurate PCB calculation
Why this happens?
It is because the EPF is not selected for your payroll center. You need to ensure at [Organizations], EPF is selected regardless an employee is contributing to EPF or not.
Remember, you are enabling EPF of company/payroll center and NOT employee's EPF. For employee's EPF, please refer to this article
To resolve this warning message & select relevant Organizations for this payroll center :
Please enable EPF at company payroll center's general settings. For more information, please refer to this article
Login to BrioHR
1. go to HR Lounge.
2. Click on Payroll
You will be directed to payroll dashboard
3. Click on Settings
4. Click on General
5. Look for Registration Information section
6. Search for Organizations section.
Select the checkboxes of EPF and other relevant statutory bodies that your employees and company contributes to.
7. Click Save button to save this latest changes.
Then, you can run the payroll cycle and the warning message won't appear anymore.
