You are verifying IR8A before submitting to IRAS and you encounter the following message error in red banner.
How to resolve this error message?
1. Login to BrioHR > HR Lounge
2. Go to Payroll > Settings
3. Look for section 'Company Information'
Please ensure the following details are filled in accurately =
1. Company Sector
2. Organisation ID Type - please choose the correct category! If you are unsure, you may use this UEN official website to check your company's entity type.
3. Organisation ID Number - tips: number of digits signify the correct 'Organisation ID Type'. Please refer to the table below. For more information, please visit UEN official website here
4. CSN Number
Table 1: Three (3) UEN formats
Note for Organisation ID Number :
- 9 digits : UEN - Business Registration number issued by ACRA
- 10 digits (yyyynnnnnX) : UEN - Local Company Registration number issued by ACRA
- 10 digits (TyyPQnnnnX) : All Other entities
After filling in and updating the information, don't forget to save.
Once saved, go back to IRAS verification page and try verify again.
I have filled in Organisation ID Type, Organisation ID Number and CSN Number. How about Basis Year?
Answer = This is a default message. You can ignore 'Basis Year' unless you're trying to submit a different year assessment than 2024 (eg, 2023, 2022 and prior)
