This feature enables the Admin/HR user, the ability to remove an employee from an ongoing Performance cycle.

For example: If the Performance cycle has already commenced, but an employee has left the company, or was added to the Performance cycle by mistake, then the Admin/HR user can remove ("Exclude") the employee from the ongoing Performance cycle.

To exclude an employee from the current Performance cycle, kindly follow the below steps :

1. Once you have logged in to your BrioHR account, click on HR Lounge > Employee Performance.

2. Next, click on the Employees tab. Here, you will be able to manage the employees in the current cycle, and prepare your upcoming cycle. To exclude an employee from the current cycle, search for the name of the employee at the Search field.

3. Then, click on the "-" ("Remove") icon to exclude the employee from the current cycle. The status of the employee will then change from INCLUDED to EXCLUDED, under the CURRENT CYCLE column.

If you wish to include the employee back to the ongoing cycle, you may click on the "+" ("Add") icon accordingly. The status of the employee will then change from EXCLUDED to INCLUDED under the CURRENT CYCLE column.

*IMPORTANT POINTS TO TAKE NOTE :

1. This "Exclude" employee feature is applicable only for the ongoing and same Performance cycle only.

2. Once you remove an employee from the ongoing Performance cycle, and then decide to include the employee back to the same cycle, the employee will have to start the tasks from the beginning of the Performance cycle again. Only data such as the Objectives and Appraisal will remain.

3. When this "Exclude" employee action is performed on an ongoing Performance cycle, there will be no notifications or alert at the Pending Actions List. This is purely a HR/Admin user function only.
