Managers able to add individual objectives on behalf of his direct report. It can be done once the cycle has started at the employee's personal performance page



Login to BrioHR account,


1. Go to Team


2. Click on Team Performance



3. Open any of your direct report's Performance page by clicking on See details



4. Go to the Objectives section and click on +Add new objective button



5. A pop-out template will appear for you to key in a new objective. Fill in the fields provided




Breakdown of Objectives fields:

  1. Objective Name: Add S.M.A.RT objective name
  2. This is a non-rated objective (optional) : If selected, this objective will not included in the appraisal form
  3. Target Date: When this objective is expected to be completed
  4. +Add Description (optional)
  5. Weightage : Define the weightage scale for this objective. A higher weightage percentage indicates greater  importance in the performance assessment
  6. Contributor (option): To assign another employee to assess/rate this objective (non-appraiser)
  7. Category: Choose from existing category, or type a new one



  1. Key Results: measurable outcomes tracks the progress toward achieving this objective
    1. Measurable Types: Number, Percentage, Currency
    2. Start Value: That start value to track progress
    3. Target Value: End target value that determines if this key result is achieved or otherwise
    4. Target Date
  2. Qualitative Goals: list the goals that emphasize measures of success rather than numerical or quantifiable metrics


6. Once you've filled in the necessary information, click on Save




Back to the Objectives page, you will see the newly created individual objective for your direct report
