At Expense Claims approval workflow, HR/Admin may set "Client" as the approver. This is applicable when employee has a project to work with the external client and you would like the client to be the approver as this claim is related to them.
Important note:
Please ensure both the project and client information has updated in the Timesheet module and the employee profile > Project page.
To set "Client" as approver, login to your BrioHR account:
1. Go to HR Lounge.
2. Navigate to Expense Claims.
3. Go to Claim Policies.
4. Click on the policy name that you want to set "Client" as approver.
5. Go to Approval.
6. Edit the Approval Workflow and select Position - Client as the approver.
Questions: Do HR need to create a profile in BrioHR for "Client" Claim approver?
Answer: HR doen't need to create a profile for "client" in BrioHR. The client will approve the submitted Claim directly from his/her email.
Below steps showing how a client can approve a submitted Claim via his/her email. Once an employee submits his Claim, the client (approver) will receives an email.
1. Click on the blue link 'Click here to Approve/Reject'
2. The client will be directed to a new browser page 'Claim Approval Request'
This is where the client able to :
- View Details of the Claim
- Select the checkbox of an acknowledgement.
- Click Approve Claim, or Reject Claim
