When there is a specific budget allocated for certain claim types, a limit may be set accordingly. As a result, the available balance for these claims will be reduced upon creation of the claim from employees, not just when the claims are submitted, approved, or reimbursed, but also for claims that are still open.


For example:

A yearly limit of RM 400 has been established for the "Furniture and Fittings" claim type. An employee has submitted a claim for RM 100 and has an additional open claim for RM 100. Consequently, these two claims will utilize RM 200 of the limit, leaving a remaining balance of RM 200 (calculated as RM 400 minus RM 200) available for future claims.
