The overall rating of the appraisal form is derived from the ratings assigned by the appraiser for competencies and objectives. The following outlines the method our system uses to calculate the appraisal score.
Formula to calculate appraisal score rating
Final score = <weightage competency %> * <average of competency rating> + <weightage percentage %> * < average of objective rating>
For example:
Competencies weightage is 50%.
Objectives weightage is 50%.
Objective Average Rating by Appraiser is 3.5/5.
Competencies Average Rating by Appraiser is 3.3/5.
Overall Rating = [50% x 3.3/5] + [50% x 3.5/5] = 3.4/5
