Introducing our latest feature: the Claims Personal Assistant, which allows you to designate an employee as a ‘Personal Assistant’ to a manager/CEO.
This feature enables the assigned personal assistant to view, create, and submit claims on behalf of the manager/CEO directly from the personal assistant’s Home page.
A new menu, "Claims on Behalf," will appear on the Home page. There are three steps to follow before an employee can create claims on behalf of a manager/CEO.
To ensure the personal assistant can access the "Claims on Behalf" function on their Home page, please follow these steps:

Step 2: Create a User Group & Enable Personal Assistant Permission
Step 3: Re-assign Employee to Personal Assistant User Group
Step 1: Assign a Personal Assistant
Login to BrioHR
1. Go to Settings > Personal Assistant
2. Search for the name of the manager/CEO or the person to do actions of behalf for
3. At field 'Personal Assistant' search for an employee's name you want to assign the Personal Assistant to.
4. Select the name and now you have assigned a personal assistant for this employee
Example, Nurul is the personal assistant of Jack
Step 2: Create a User Group & Enable Personal Assistant Permission (2.1 & 2.2)
Step 2.1: Create a User Group
1. Remain in the Settings page > Go to User Groups
2. To create a new group from scratch, click on button +Add Group. For more information, please refer to this article : How to create a User Group?
3. Alternatively, you can duplicate from the existing group to create a new group based on existing permission configuration. In the video above, we go for this method.
- Find the user group to duplicate
- Click "Duplicate" icon
- Rename the duplicated group
4. Click pencil icon to edit
Step 2.1: Enable Personal Assistant Permission
1. Go to permission category: Pages Access
2. Search for Personal Assistants > Select the checkbox
3. Next, go to permission category: PA Modules Permission
4. Enable Claim Module > Select the checkbox of "Allow submit on behalf"
*Note: Allow "submit on behalf" will allow personal assistants to create and submit claims on behalf of the assigned employees
Step 3: Reassigned Personal Assistant to User Group 'Personal Assistant'

*Note: You must re-assigned the personal assistants to a User Group that you have enabled the 'Personal Assistant Modules Permission' for them to access "Claims on Behalf" menu on their Home page
