LEAVE MODULE

Note: Ensure that access to view the Leave module and settings via HR Lounge has been enabled on your end. 


1. On December 31, 2023, BrioHR will capture a snapshot of each employee's leave balance and compute the Carry-Forward balance for the year 2024. This Carry-Forward balance will be reflected in the Initial Balance within the leave policies.


2. After validating the information in the Initial Balance, it's advisable for HR to download a copy of the Leave Balance Report by the end of December 2023 to confirm the accuracy of the employee's Leave Balance and Carry-Forward. Here's a detailed guide on generating the Leave Balance Report.

3. If there are adjustments to be made to the Carry-Forward balance, ensure it is completed before December 31, 2023. Refer to this article to learn how. 

4. Generate the leave report as of January 1, 2024, to verify and confirm the Carry-Forward amount. 

5. For any adjustments required after January 1, 2024, edit the Carry-Forward in the Initial Balance (or use the refresh button). To learn how to adjust an employee's Leave Balance or Carry-Forward, refer here.

PAYROLL MODULE


Note: Ensure that access to view the Payroll module and settings via HR Lounge has been enabled on your end.


1. Ensure that all pay items for employees have been accurately captured in the payroll, as the generated Forms will be based on payroll entries from January 2023 to December 2023.
